Register 1: Figure of the Church (Ecclesia) holding a spear and a chalice.
Register 2: Moses holding the tables of the Law; column with the Bronze Serpent.
Centre panel
Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; Adam rising from a tomb; two angels.
Wing, right
Register 1: Figure of Synagogue (Synagoga), holding a broken spear; tables of the Law and crown falling.
Register 2: unidentified prophet holding a scroll.

Koechlin Number: 0202

Koechlin 1924: German (?), 1st half of the 14th century.


Traces of three missing hinges on either side.

Object Condition
The ivory has been tinted.
Holes in the background. Upper left corner of the left wing chipped.

Lost or destroyed during WWII.
